Korea Foundation: Fully Funded Korean Language Training

Korean Language Training (KLT) fellowship program registration is now available through the Korea Foundation (KF). This program is available for those who will study Korean at a Korean institution in 2023, including graduate students, researchers, and persons employed abroad in Korea-related professions.

What paperwork must be ready to apply for this scholarship?

  • Application form online.

  • The applicant's highest-level academic degree on paper.
  • Letters of recommendation from two distinct referees.
  • Depending on the status of the applicants, further particular documents may be required. All non-English or non-Korean documents need to be presented with a notarized translation.

How long is the scholarship valid?

Depending on the performance and attendance of the scholarship recipients, the program will last at least six months and no more than a year.
